Dental Sleep Medicine of Indiana is seeking a sharp, tech-savvy coordinator to be the first point of contact for our sleep apnea specialty practice. This role is critical to our patient experience and daily operations. The ideal candidate is highly organized, a fast learner, and able to confidently navigate insurance conversations and third-party billing with a professional and welcoming presence.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Manage patient scheduling, appointment confirmations, and calendar coordination.
  • Serve as a liaison between patients, the clinical team, and third-party billing companies.
  • Verify insurance benefits and accurately communicate coverage details and expected patient payments.
  • Handle a high volume of tasks simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.
  • Learn and operate practice management software and other digital tools proficiently.
  • Support billing workflows and follow up on outstanding claims and authorizations.
  • Greet and check out patients, ensuring a smooth and welcoming front office experience.

Qualifications:
  • Prior administrative experience in a dental or medical office setting — required.
  • Working knowledge of medical or dental insurance, including benefit verification and patient financial discussions — required.
  • Experience scheduling appointments and managing calendars — required.
  • Experience working with third-party billing companies — plus.
  • Strong comfort level with technology and the ability to quickly learn new software platforms.
  • Exceptional multitasking ability and attention to detail.
  • Clear, confident communicator — both with patients and insurance representatives.
  • Goal-oriented mindset with the ability to adapt quickly in a specialty environment.

Compensation & Benefits:
  • Hourly Rate: $20.00 – $28.00 / hr,
  • Schedule: Monday – Thursday (Fridays off).
  • Paid Time Off: 6 paid holidays + accrued PTO.
